Just so you know, I have since moved to a new blog due to some unforseen circumstances & mainly the inability to correct the error in my blog layout/settings. It is rather obvious that all my widgets that were previously at the right hand side have gone haywired & are all now at the bottom.

Trust me, I have consulted many ppl and tried to fix the error but it's all done in vain. I guess it's time to move on after 3 & a half years writting over here.

I'm feeling homesick

at such a time as this. I'm not too sure what trigured the homesickness though, must be effect of walking under the rain jz now that is making my head throb like crazy & the very fact that I can't scream for attention from my parents at such an ungodly hour right now.

I miss home - terribly.

It must be the fact that I feel so overwhelmed by practically everything. And I thought this short sem would be a fairly relaxing one, but clearly, I was wrong.

It's okay I guess. Being busy is better than having nothing to do. Just wanted to rant over here coz I miss being at home and being stress-free.

I miss home.
I miss my Mommy & Daddy.
I miss my Browie.
I miss my bed.
I miss screaming for attention from my Mommy,.
I miss telling my Daddy almost everything that is going on in my life.
I miss laughing day & night with Browie.
I miss having breakfast, lunch and dinner with my family.
I miss my daddy coming to my room to wake me up in the morning.
I miss my mommy demanding that she gets her long overdued share of hugs.
I miss poking fun @ my browie.
I miss the smell of home.
I miss saying 'Hi' to daddy about 10,000 times a day & he never gets annoyed by it.

its been a long day of zombie-ing in front of the comp eversince I sent browie to school early this morning till 7pm. Went for dinner with Po, Yin, Dai Yee & browie @ Old Town & even managed to catch the 10.45pm movie with browie jz now.

The Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland is the most ~~gao xiu~~ hilarious character in the entire show.

O yea, I'm still fiddling with my Tamadun Islam assignment but I've already completed 90% of it already. So much for wanting to ironmylifeout today. Had to postpone it to tmrw cause it was the case of massive editting with our secret weapon. hehe

I'm feeling so happy right now. My assignment is too pretty. ~~not a really appropriate word to describe it~~ but it's real nice. I'm very satisfied with it. eeeeeeeeeeeeee

.....That I'm going to complete the other 10% to make it close to perfection :)

It was such an experience that I am in utter speechlessness even at the thought of it. ahaha chuckles*

Randomness after getting over my state of shockness

The devil was very evil to me today.

Oh well, since when is he ever nice?

I drove my parents up to LCCT and got lost on the way back. I was suppose to pass 2 round abouts and 2 tolls

Sepang - Nilai - Sban

Whatever shdn't happen, happened today. Lost my way, car broke down in Sepang town, met with a lady who gave unreliable directions....

and I was all alone.

But..ah...a lil panicky but not afraid coz I had a solution - start praying!

Then, a kind man @ the petrol station called the mechanic, did some hocus pocus, in less than 1/2hrs I was finding my way back

and

I still did not pass 2 tolls and 2 round abouts

instead

I TOOK THE OLD ROAD AKA BACK LANE HOME!

can you imagine that?

my grandmother was laughing & worried when she heard of my lil adventure today.

ahh.. not a title that would describe -->> Me. But this CNY was a rather pleasant and busy one for me. The CNY week was really swift to me; or so I thought. Most probably because I was in and out of the house most of the time, but it was good.
My one month hols is finally coming to an end. Aww... like the old saying goes, All good things must come to an end and therefore, greater things shall begin :) not bad yea?

I definitely had my fair share of rest and relax, good ~~terribly, sumptuous, delicious, wonderful, yummy, tasty, finger-licking, mouth-watering, saliva-dripping~~ food. Enjoyed the company of my family, great bonding with my browie & I met up with a lot of my former classmates & friends.

I guess.. after so many outings with my old pals, it made me more thankful than I already am. High school was one fun part of my life and it holds many inforgettable memories to not only me but all of them who were apart of it.

Some pics to summarized my Miss-Catching-Up-With-People title. My schedule could compete with the Prime Minister maybe? I'm busier, afterall..I had to be a full time maid @ home plus becoming the Home Minister in my humble land looking into the people's affair.

..it was indeed one of the most memorable time of my life apart from my form 4 days which was the peak of them all. In Form 1, we had the entire school to ourselves as we were the only ones in the afternoon session. The beginning of our high school lives were a mix of sheer excitement, and the don't-know-what to expect feeling.

Besides anticipating the next phase of our lives, we had so much running through our heads.
Best of it all, they randomly placed us in our classes separating us jz by the various KH (kemahiran hidup) electives; which we ourselves weren't given a choice to choose. :P

Thinking back, it was all good fun. I guess 1 Zeta was the noisiest and the liveliest class as usually. From the name-calling of our teachers, to making fun of their tudung styles ( Ferin the culprit), to playing badminton in the rain, to arranging the class tables into 2 rows ( 4 at each end - cant u believe tat?) to breaking every rule you can ever imagine... It was all in good fun.

Most importantly, I was blessed with a bunch of good friends that colored up my life & made it all the more so special.
Among us in the 1 Zeta clan was Hema Sekaran ( Puteri's top student who grew up into a Jaclyn Victor look-alike) - she spoke like a bullet train, sat beside me till Form 3 & is one real joker; Fara Farina aka Ferin / Kyoko Miyamoto ( she had this sick obsession that she would marry Miyamoto one day); Wendy Siow ( always known as the tall, pretty one); Tracy Chong aka Chongky/Wongky (the born nut-cracker - she can snipe you without realizing it); and Lavanya Malini aka Laven aka Molly/Molls ( we had this ''make way for Molly..MOLLY!' song for her).
Though only 3 of us turned up due to unforeseen circumstances, we still had a blast.

This is Ferin, the very very hilarious one. Can you believe it, I had the cheek the ask her ' Eh, you were still in Puteri during upper form is it?' How come I didn't see you?'

That was because I seriously didn't know she was still around school at that time. We were all only in the same class for one year except for Hema though.

But all I can say is that she's a gem. She really treasures our friendship & is always so warm.
She has the ability to laugh out sooo loud at one moment & then suddenly stops & acts normal. faints*

She can still remember my crazily infatuated moment with YJ Loh. ahaha...I can't even recall his name till she told me.
But I guess non of them will ever forget it either. It was the most discussed relationship for a couple of months. From the open table evaluation of the 'experts' to some good advice from all the 'Dr. Love', it's really comical thinking back about it.
It didn't last long and I wouldn't even call it official as I didn't even go out with him. How silly of me to take such things lightly last time. Let's jz say, everyone has had those days of simple mindedness.
As for now, we all see things in a larger perspective.

Everyone having their own goals & dreams, more matured in our ways & take things more seriously now, taking into account the consequences of our actions.

Let's jz say, we've all grown up now :)

Before anything else, a round of applause to ME. My second time singing karaoke for the year & for the past 10 yrs or so? weeeee

Due to the ahem,..lack of cars at home during the weekdays, I had to depend on Winn, my younger daughter aka Sai Lui for transportation. My very first time in her car, so nerve wrecking. Cause she has a lil'.. phobia of driving. But she was not too bad today :)

Last week I was at the Color Shop in Jusco Seremban wanting to get a trim with mommy. A rather pleasant young lad was my hairstylist for the day. It was a rather funny incident to me. Jz sharing for fun :P

So as he was shampooing my hair, he asked nothing less than a million questions ~~exaggerated jz a lil~~. Ah, besides asking bout practically everything under the sun, he then questioned about my h.a.i.r.

from...''Do you want to do a 10min treatment? It's only rm80, very fast'' Erm..no I don't think so, jz want a trim smiled*

to ''Since you're here in the Color Shop do want to dye ur hair??'' It's ok, not this time

to '' Have u ever tried short hair?'' ah,..yes, but I think long is nicer

to '' You jz want to trim your hair jz a lil?'' smiled while nodding head* in my mind '' aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yes la yes la....jz trim I wanna keep it long!!''

as if I didnt know my hair was nice enough. ~~at least to me laaa~~
and so, he jz nicely did what he did best. Although my Lao Pa still can't see the difference in my slightly trimmed hair and he jz said this '' Waste of money, it's like u never went to cut it''. ~~I forgive him.~~

At the end of the entire ordeal, he jz smiled to me and said, ''Actually,..... your hair is very nice already.''

you know what was in my mind? '' ZHAO JIANG MAH...I know so, that's why I didn't wanna do anything extra coz I jz wanted to maintain & keep it long'' fainted* rolling down stairs*

Exam Fever

I know this post is a ~~little~~ d.e.l.a.y.e.d, and my finals ended last mon. hehe.. I honestly wanted to blog but the moment I'm in front of the comp, I completed have no mood..or is it inspiration to write at all. I seriously can't last more than half an hour in front of the comp when I'm at home.~~so far la~~

Practically nothing to do. I'm better off watching soap while munching some grubs.

Anyhow, my finals was...overall okay I guess, coz it's OVER. haha

The process was tough, challenging, & mentally straining. No matter how difficult it was for the entire 3 weeks of preparation, studying and sitting for the 6 papers in totality, it was only by God's grace that I survived yet another storm. There were many..many times that I dreaded being awake in the middle of the night. It was so torturous, at least to me knowing that the whole world is sleeping while I'm still awake. Somehow, it's like.. ~~training to be a guard doing the night shift~~

I'm jz glad it's finally over as my subjects this sem were very tedious. Seriously requires more focus and concentration beyond anything else.

Not an introvert, but he gives people an impression that he is a rather quiet person. Not entirely true as he's the lime wire of the group when he has already warm up. But naturally, he is more of a listener. ''A very nice quality that makes him so approachable and comfortable to talk to'', - Michellee

Shy at times when too much attention is given to him.

But he is by far very much opposite when he is on familiar grounds. A natural joker and according to Gary,'' He is so so... Gao Xiu ''. He might look rather serious when he is listening attentively to you, but he has the ability to make you laugh till your tummy hurts like crazy by just a simple remark or a priceless expression.

Everyone's first impression on him was his extreme blurness. Looks can be deceiving and I kid you not, he ain't blur you know.
Almost constantly out of topic and slow to catch our speedlight conversations, he never fails to make you go =.='' then laugh out loud so hardly. '' Always ask silly questions and never think that they are silly,'' says Jing the elder twin. Trust me, it's kind of difficult to stay/get angry at him for whatever reason it maybe.

Crossing Over

As I was walking into the church sanctuary, this thought came into my mind ' I want to always be found in the house of God on New Year's eve to anticipate the coming yr for the rest of my entire life '

I know it's a rather good time to party to usher in the New Year, but besides it being a constant practice of mine to be in church @ night on every New Year's eve for the past 10 yrs or so, I rather like the idea of ending the year with God and starting a brand new one with Him too. I would want to spend this memorable day with the One, who is a huge part of my life.

I don't know where to start, but I know one thing for sure, it has been a swift 2009. A very challenging yet eventful year where I learnt a lot, matured in my thoughts & grew with much understanding.

In 2009...

My studies got more challenging by the semester. It's predictable as the subjects got deeper into the accounting formats and standards. In every course, you gotta take the entire package, not all subjects are favourable in our sights but yet we still have to take ~~swallow~~ it all in. A mixture of the weirdly interesting, the supposedly boring, the rather fascinating and also the 'why-on-earth' are we made to study this?? ahaha...

College has been rather monotonous at some point but never boring. Although I'm not living a highly sociable lifestyle that requires late nights out, but I have my same fair share of ultimate fun, joy and extreme laughter. Thanks to the bunch of friends that surrounds me :) The nice blend of never ending assignments and strings of tests plus the non-stop movie catching grins* drove us all up the wall and all the way down. Twist, turn & we go round and round.

Hilarious I would say whn we all come to a hyped-up mode.

My cell grp has also been growing; not only in numbers but also spiritually and as a familee entity. We bonded well and grew from strength to strength in the Lord. I learnt a lot from each and everyone of them. By observing their lifestyles, the way they carry themselves and a knowledge or two that they have imparted into my life; I believed that we are constantly building each other up. I love the candidness and the total randomness, the extreme honesty and the frankness of our relationships with each other, the weirdness and lameness a l t o g e t h e r.

Our vast personality differences blend together as a familee makes us special not only in the sight of men but in God's too. We understand our differences in opinions & thoughts, slow to judge but always there to hear one another out, with much love; corrects each others' mistakes and will never watch us fall in the sight of God.

Jesus loves us isnt it?

Apart from that, I learnt to be more accepting of other people too. I think it's because as I meet more ppl, I realized that everyone has a reason of why they behave or react in in such a manner under certain circumstances. I chose to see through them than see off them. How many of you know that all people want is a just chance to be known as who they really are inside? The physical appearance is merely the outer shell which protects the real them. Inside, is where the real person is, yet to be discovered. You'd be surprise how nice some of them may turn out to be. And there you go, another friend you made along this path you're journeying on :)

I decided also, not to sweat over the little things anymore. Let's not magnify the petty insignificant issues that irritate us nor do we blow up the big matters. I came to a point where I now jz try to brush off small/big issues as much as I can. Sometimes, it's not that I don't care less or it's never my priority or its unimportant to me; it's jz that I don't want to fret the petty issues and be all worked up. It's really not worth my time. If I were to toss and think over it, try to clarify and justify myself or even discuss on why such matters even occur; then I'd be rather busy occupying my life with issues that aren't even important in the 1st place.

There's more to life than being right or getting it perfect all the time. Mistakes, arguments, frictions, discontentment, disappointments, heartaches and pains are bound to occur. This is life. Accept it or not, not all things will go as planned. Most of the time, it doesn't. So, get over it and move on. There are much more things that are worth thinking over as compared to this.

Talk to me about it, I'm really loving this revelation as I'm still trying to work on the 'patience' department in my life. Seriously, I get pissed off easily when people try to show their dissatisfaction at me or enforce their power or some sort. I don't really know how to express this in words, but the constant emotions & feelings are ' I don't need to hear this or take this from you. Who are you anyway and what for? '

I really see no point in accepting it or lets jz say -- jz bear with his/her volatile attitude which seems to change as fast as the wind. I don't owe you money nor did I kill your dog or snatch your lover...so.. Please get a life.

hehe,. sorry for the unexpected sudden outburst. Not intentional. ~~but who cares, my blog right?~~ ahaha

I spent lesser time at home but I grew to love my family more. Despite the many disagreements in thoughts or opinions, the little conflicts here and there ~~that usually don't last longer than half a day~~ or the never ending n.a.g.g.i.n.g; I love my daddy, mommy and browie to pieces. No one knows me better than they do and they are the ones who can bear with all I am. From the abundance of nonsense , to the impatient me. They love me all the same and are always there to correct & teach me to learn to deal with myself.

And finally God, who was always there from the very beginning; through the ups and downs, sad times and good, with abundant company or whn I'm jz alone - He was always there. Such great joy huh? My constant anchor in all seasons. I am loved and blessed.

In 2010...

I decided to let go and let God be in charge of the many things that I cling on too tightly. If you feel weary and tired then you realized that this burden is not for you to carry. Cast it to the One who cares so dearly for you instead.

I don't ask for many many more new hi & bye friends, but instead, many more good friendships to be formed :) Another great year ahead for more fun, endless chuckles and enormous laughters, more movies ? ~~nodding head with eyes wide open~~ wohooooo*, more randomness & gilaness !!!!

I pray that my cell will continue to grow in the Lord from strength to strength & glory to glory. Where we shall continue to be there for one another for guidance, support, friendship, fellowship, discipleship and each other's constant source of joy & laughter :)

Not lesser problems but an overcoming mentality, not a lesser workload but a better time management, not lesser conflicts/frictions with ppl but the right attitude to face the issue, not lesser challenges but more courage to face them...

Complain lesser. :P ~~help me as I help myself~~

To work harder in my studies and put more effort in the things that I do.

In short, I'm anticipating yet another wonderful year as we cross over to 2010.

A year of memorable events; both big and small,& smiles 2 accompany me all the way through the storms & calm times.
